What is a Caregiver?
The Merriam-Webster.com Dictionary defines a Caregiver as “a person who provides direct care (as for children, elderly people, or the chronically ill). This can be a person that is either paid or unpaid for their services.
Caregivers can be spouses, partners, adult children, parents, other relatives (siblings, aunts, nieces/nephews, in-laws, grandchildren), friends, neighbors.
